The Property
The bedrooms are charming and cosy with luxurious beds and beautiful linens. Each bedroom has double aspect windows with blackout shutters keeping out the morning light, or leaving them open listening to the calm or roar of the sea.

Kitchen
The bespoke kitchen is equipped with all that a cook would need with a 2 oven induction range cooker, extra oven, microwave, American style fridge freezer, pantry fridge and a wide range of high quality kitchen equipment including Kitchen Aid mixer & food processor, to name a few. Nespresso coffee facilities also provided in the conservatory. Includes a breakfast table, seating 8.
Sitting/Dining Room
This is a large, light and airy room comprising of 2 sofas and a large dining table seating up to 12 people. Glasses, table linen and dining accessories are provided. There is also an open wood stove with all wood included. This is a great room for celebrations and is adjoined to the lounge room through double doors and a door out to the walled garden.
Lounge Room
Through the double doors of the dining room is a large room with bay window looking out to the walled garden and pool. This room comprises 2 large sofas and a daybed. It also has a baby grand piano and large 75” tv with full Sky subscription including BT Sports, house Netflix account and Sonos tv soundbar.
Play/Games Room
Down a short flight of stairs from the lounge is the play/games room. This is another large room with a bay window looking out to the walled garden and pool. It has a sofa and daybed, 75” tv, again with full Sky subscription including BT Sports, Netflix account and Sonos tv soundbar. There are plenty of games, books and a table football (foosball table) to keep you entertained. There is a door out to the walled garden and access to the 5th bedroom via a spiral staircase.
Each of the Reception Rooms are large and adjoining one another, and all look out to the pool, garden and sea.
Conservatory & Utility Room
The conservatory overlooks the pool garden with large day bed and chair. It includes a small drinks fridge, range of plastic cups for poolside, tea and Nespresso coffee facilities. It is cosy and warm on a winter’s day and can be opened up on a warm day to let a cool breeze in (comes with fly screens).
Within the Conservatory there is an 8kg washing machine and condenser tumble drier.

Dark sky friendly star gazing, surplus parking, private front garden with woodland and an enclosed/secure walled garden to the South, Green Egg BBQ, table tennis, outside dining table with umbrella, sun lounges, beach/pool towels, beach chairs, solar heated swimming pool (open from May to October), pool pergola terrace with lighting and seating/dining furniture, another pergola in front garden with seating, seating benches dotted around the front garden & woodland, trampoline.
The Gardens
Glenacres has extensive gardens and woodland (approx. 3 acres) consisting of well laid out formal gardens to the west with large expanses of lawn interspersed with a variety of shrubs and trees. On the south western side is a wooden bridge leading to a large area of bluebell woodland. The western boundary backs onto fields with fine views to Golden Cap, the sea and surrounding hills.
Immediately to the South of the house is a walled garden with adjoining terrace, areas of lawn, flower and shrub beds which also features a solar heated swimming pool (open from May to October) with pergola terrace.
Accessibility
Glenacres is not suitable for people with mobility problems as there are steps down to the house and all bedrooms are situated on the first floor.
Minimum Stay
Please note that the minimum stay is 7 nights during school holidays including ½ terms, Easter, Christmas & New Year. Change over day is Saturday, unless otherwise arranged. All other times of the year, the minimum stay is 2 nights. Press here to see availability.
Booking Information
To book your stay you must contact me directly either through the ‘contact’ link email, or by mobile. You cannot book directly through the this website. To confirm your stay a booking form will be sent to you to be completed and returned with a payment of 1/3 of the total rate as a deposit. Upon receiving your completed booking form and deposit, your booking will be secured. Your balance and £500 refundable damage deposit is to be paid 6 weeks prior to your arrival at the property. Your refundable damage deposit will be returned to you 2 weeks after you leave the property, subject to my Terms & Conditions. All cleaning, pool heating and concierge is included in the rate.
Payment methods are to be made by UK bank transfer or Paypal. If Paypal is your preferred method, please note a fee of 3.5% will be charged in addition to the amount owed.
